| And what changes, if any, would you suggest to assist in running the ship? | Need a calender of events (shared Google calendar?) . Supanova is a highlight of my year (along with Ironfest) frankly last year was a big disappointment, we desperately need to plan / budget for future events |
| Why did you join Starfleet? | To put fun & creativity back into my life. As a fan publisher, Communique by itself is worth the fee. Family membership for four is cost effective |

I can promote Starfleet / Star trek with my \” real life \”qualifications and also my extensive background with the star trek universe. |

| Why did you join Starfleet? | I wanted to apart of Star Trek beyond just watching the movies and reading about it. I wanted to be a \” Real Life \” Starfleet Officer. I wanted to be apart of a world wide organisation that promotes and upholds Starfleet / Star Trek Values and lives out in real time the life of a Starfleet Officer. |

I also work with foam and more recently, thermoplastic.Although I haven\’t much experience in designing electronics, I am very good at soldering, so I can help with kits for the Artemis rig (Phillips has already asked for my advice). I can suss out basic analog circuits. |

| Where would you like to have “Real Life” meetings? | Parramatta is too far away to get to on all occasions, so sometimes it should be held inner city as it can be accessed from all areas of Sydney. Also, maybe flipping around locations, Parramatta most of the time, city another month. Check out different restaurants and cafes for meal and drink opportunities. One day, well will have to go to the Union Hotel in Newtown, I promise it\’ll benefit us all, including Wesley. |

| And what changes, if any, would you suggest to assist in running the ship? | Sydney is a big place, so if everybody could move closer to the city, that would be great. (Sarcasm) |
| Why did you join Starfleet? | $25 a year is great. I\’m happy to pay $2 a month to be a member. I think the access to the Academy courses were the main reason. |

| Why did you join Starfleet? | My Dad signed me up… I find the stuff they send out is very boring. As much as I like to see what other chapters are doing, it\’s very Americanised. Not a lot of Oceanic stuff… and it\’s all the same. |

| What are your thoughts on the current command crew? | My only concern is what lessons are learn from past conflicts or issues. I do believe that they are doing what they can in a tough situation. |
| And what changes, if any, would you suggest to assist in running the ship? | There is no simple answer to this, as i think there is a diverse range of members in the group and i get the impression there is no simple way to get the membership motivated. I also think that it probably the toughest state to run a star trek club, finding something so members and friends would regret not attending is difficult. I have no ideas. |
| Why did you join Starfleet? | I joined Starfleet after meeting Greg at a Oztrek event, it sounded interesting and wanted to see what may come of such a organisation. I was a Member of Starfleet before and let it lapse due to the feeling that unless you in the USA your really not part of Starfleet. |
| Anything we might have missed? | My resent distance from the group was no one single event or person, however i did feel it was just expected that at a drop of a hat i should be available as if the club should be first in all things, feeling this way was not helped by other events happening or not happening as the case may be in other areas with work and personal life. It just wore me down. My only frustration re conversation , was the repetition, my memory may not be the best but after a while it got frustrating to have the same conversations again and again, this also took its toll to the point that i could not be around the group, no matter how much i like the members that i know i just could not be around. It is easy to be critical, the reality it that the team are doing the best they can, i get the impression unless a member has a real advantage then they will participate, but if it costs them then they don\’t want to attend, which is not very inline with star trek values, which i find veryu disappointing, and its easy to become disillusioned with Star Trek fandom when this happens. |
